Hi everyone, I made it back from Portland, and it was beautiful! As much as I like the rain, it was pretty nice to have sunny skies every single day. I don’t think it got above 90 degrees the whole time we were there – lovely!
Expect to see some Portland pictures soon – the one here is one I did take, but not from this trip. Once I load my pictures on to my computer today, you will get to see some pictures of beautiful Portland, Oregon! (Also, I promise the photos I took on this trip are better then this one. Why did I take those photo with so much shade?? Ah, youth!)

I apologize for no Saturday post! I thought I would be able to get one out, but I just didn’t have the time before I left to schedule one. However, you are in for a treat! I did a guest post!
Guest Post on The Broke and Beautiful Life
I guest posted for Stefanie from The Broke and Beautiful Life, about data brokers: how they collect your information and how it is used. You may very surprised what data brokers know about us, and how they get our information. The post is titled ‘Would You Share Your Personal Information for a Discount?‘ Click on over there and check out my stellar post!
Also, go figure, the show ’60 Minutes’ did a special on data brokers and how you can (try) to protect your privacy – if you’re interested in this topic, check out the 60 Minutes special.
Link Love is a little late, but better than never! Here are the posts from last week that I really enjoyed:
Did you get reintroduced to Erin, the blogger formerly known as E.M., from Journey to Saving? Based on the outpouring of affection, we’re all psyched about Erin’s reintroduction, and I’m excited to see her blog grow even bigger now!
Connie from Savvy with Saving had a good post about dating etiquette – who pays for what? If you think about it, if guys insisted on paying for every date, that can get really expensive. Connie shares some ways of making dating cheaper for both genders.
Of course, you should obviously check out Stefanie’s blog, because she’s hosting me… have I plugged this enough? 😉 Can you tell how excited I am about this first guest post?! Get over and read it already!
